Albert Cheung, TVB: It would be cool if you can speak some Chinese for us.
Mariah Carey: Okay, do you want to teach me something to say?
TVB: What about 'How are you?'
MC: Okay.
TVB: 'How are you' would be 'Dai ga ho?'
MC: Dai ga ho?
TVB: That's very good. Ngo hai Mariah Carey.
MC: Ngo with the N first?
TVB: Ngo-hai-Mariah Carey.
MC: Ngo hai Mariah Carey.
TVB: That's so sweet.
MC: And then you just say, Dai ga ho?
TVB: Right. That's perfect.
MC: How do you say, 'Thank you'?
TVB: Dor tse.
MC: Dor tse.
TVB: That's right. Am I a good teacher?
MC: You are a really good teacher.
Mariah's "Olympic" Song
TVB: This year is the Olympics year and China's gonna host the Olympics and this is one of the mascots.
MC: Wow! I wrote a song that I thought would be really beautiful for the Olympics and I wondered if they ever, anyone ever wanted to talk about it I would love to come and sing it here.
On Nick Cannon
TVB: Just being nosy, [Nick] is beyond romantic. How was the proposal?
MC: Yes. But we knew we were gonna get married anyway. Like, we got tattoos. Nobody knew about this. All my friends' boyfriends were like, 'Tell him to stop, he's making us look bad.' He really is a great person. He's a really, really fantastic person.
Message to Sichuan Earthquake Victims
Mariah: My heart obviously goes out to all those who have been affected by this terrible tragedy and really the families, and every one who suffered the loss and I just, you're in my prayers and I hope, I encourage everybody in the world to get more involved and try to help as much as possible.
